SAMUEL BECKETT BRIDGE
GR White & Son Ltd was awarded the contract for the lighting on the Samuel Beckett Bridge in Dublin. The bridge will link the northside and southside of the city over the river Liffey in the Dublin Docklands. The bridge will be opened to traffic in early 2010.
The bridge has 4 traffic lanes, with cycle tracks and footpaths on either side. It is also capable of opening through an angle of 90 degrees allowing ships to pass through.
